AIMS Masters in Mathematical Sciences Scholarship in South Africa

Applications are now open for the AIMS South Africa Master’s in Mathematical Sciences (January 2027 intake).

If you’re ready to advance your journey in mathematics, data science, and problem-solving, this fully funded, world-class programme in Cape Town offers an excellent opportunity to gain skills that drive real-world impact.

This call is open to South African citizens, permanent residents, and refugees currently residing in South Africa.

To be considered for the AIMS Scholarship 2026/27, you must:

• Be a South African citizen, permanent residents and refugees residing in South Africa. 

• Hold a 4-year bachelor’s degree from a recognized university

• Meet the entry requirements for the Masters in Mathematical Sciences Program.

• Apply for admission to the program by November 4, 2026.

Women are highly encouraged to apply.

The fully funded scholarship includes;

• FULL SCHOLARSHIPS covering tuition, accommodation, travel and medical aid to all accepted students.

• A FULLY RESIDENTIAL Master’s programme in Cape Town, taught by TOP LECTURERS from across the world, supported by a team of resident tutors.
