Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) CSC Scholarship in China

The Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) plays host to three different types of Chinese Government Scholarships for international students.

These scholarships include;

• Chinese Government - Bilateral Program Type A

• Chinese Government - Chinese Program Type B

• Chinese Government Silk Road Program＊

TYPE A- Chinese Government Scholarship-Bilateral Program

Who can apply?

Applicants for undergraduate, postgraduate and scholar programs.

Where to apply?

Dispatching authorities in your home country, such as:

• Educational and Cultural Office of Chinese Embassy/Consulate.

• Department of Education, etc.

TYPE B- Chinese Government Scholarship - Chinese University Program

Who can apply?

Applicants for postgraduate programs ONLY.

Applicants should have an excellent academic record and demonstrate strong academic potential.

Chinese Government Scholarship - Silk Road Program

Who can apply?

Applicants from the 10 designated countries:

Russia, Malaysia, Mongolia, Laos, Indonesia, Cambodia, Thailand, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Pakistan.

in 5 specialties: 

Bachelor's Programs (Chinese-medium instruction ONLY):

- Architecture

- Software Engineering

Applicants should have passed HSK 4 (score ≥ 180);

Master's & Doctoral Programs (English-medium instruction):

- Computer Science and Technology

- Civil Engineering

- Chemistry.
