The University of Amsterdam Research Scholarships are fully funded PhD projects for students interested in studying in the Netherlands.

To be considered for the University of Amsterdam Project Scholarships, you must:

• hold a master’s degree in a relevant field — completed by the start date — with strong training in research methods and research design.

• be eager to keep developing their research skills and be committed to the substantive research area of the project.

• be able to think independently and analytically, and follow through to finish what they start.

• communicate clearly in English, in writing and in person.

• work well independently and as part of an international team.
